The Ruined King

Animation SupervisorIn-game Cinematics

I supervised the animation on the cinematics for Ruined King: A League of Legends Story — the in-game cutscenes, the opening, and its emotional ending. It was the first time the Ruined King had ever been portrayed in animation, so we dug deep into the lore with Riot to put the trauma that forged this king into every frame. One of the projects I'm most attached to.

Ajani

Character DirectorAnimation Lead

The first time Ajani was ever seen in animation — before this he existed only in card art. My job was to find the character: the balance between barely-contained rage and the grace underneath it. The fanbase's reception was tremendous, and the animated pitch I made went on to help secure an 8×45-minute Netflix series.

Horizon Hunters Gathering

Cinematic DirectorIn-engine Animation

The announcement trailer for Sony's Horizon spin-off, animated entirely in-engine. The brief was anime-influenced fight choreography that still had to live inside the game's strict technical limits — hand-drawn kinetic energy, rendered by the game itself. It comes straight out of working in both AAA cinematics and independent film.

Legend of Yaqoot

Yaqoot is my own film. A mother sets out to save her son's life, against everything in her way. The world is original, and the storytelling leans on anime.

The script is finished. Directors I've worked with have read it and given notes. It's the project I care most about.

It started as a comic. In 2014 I made a short from it on my own in two months, teaching myself to make 3D move like hand-drawn anime.
